Wizard of OZ

I said soon so here I am! Had to post a pic of two of our grandchildren. They went to see the Wizard of Oz tonight. What a ham!

This shawl is for G'ma Elder. Just finished it. Will be taking it to her tomorrow. What do you think? It is a variation on a pattern I just received from my online crochet group. The pattern was great, but I wanted to dress it up a bit.

No I haven't finished the tshirt yet. Been busy trying to get this done and working on some gifts for our little Maddy, due in November. I'll post pictures soon.

I promise my next post will be soon and with a couple more goodies!

School starts tomorrow

Robby has been with us the last two days. I slept the morning away!!!
We have watched Harry Potter and a couple of Disney movies. He's off with G'pa now taking pictures of cars.

I have actually worked on the afghan a bit today. Plan to do some more.
I'm trying to decide if I want to put the black circles on the tshirt together using yellow thread. I think I will try that first. The contrast might work that way if I go all the way around the outer edge of each circle. I really want to finish this soon. Feeling a bit low and hope that getting something done will help me feel better. Our desk is much cleaner than it has been for some time.

Maybe I can finish the shirt and get some other things done this evening! Yeah!

I hope this works. I finally took a couple pics of the tshirt project. Haven't worked on it for a couple days. Been working on an afghan for granddaughter Lily. Want to finish both soon!!!! But it is hard to stay on track. I just don't seem to be able to stay with it all the time. Hate that. Well let's see how the pics work..... They are there!!!!

I have to finish connecting all the circles and decide whether to add smaller circkles or chain stitch in the open spaces. I'll see how I'm feeling later today and decide which way. Still lots of ends to weave in. Ahhhhhhh.

Good morning! Well the tears have stopped, but I'm still having problems staying on task. Start to do something and then find myself sitting in the recliner with the dog in my lap. I have so many pigs (Projects In Grocery Sacks) to work on that I will be busy forever if I can't at least keep at them for an hour at a time.
I have a t-shirt about half done for our oldest granddaughter. I am using a kind of freeform crochet for it. I have it pinned to a dress form in the livingroom. Dressform! Yeah got a female one and a male plus a plastic drawer thing full of material for $10!!!!!
If I can post pictures I will add one of the shirt soon.
Nough for now!

Decided it was time for me to try out blogging. Twittering just doesn't seem to work for me. lol

I plan to share thoughts on lots of different things AND will do my best to get some of my own crochet patterns written down for anyone want to take a chance with them!
